OH! Open House Marina Bay: The Happiness Index

oh

OH! Open House — Singapore’s only art walk – takes art out of traditional spaces and into a different neighbourhood every year. I’m part of 2013’s edition, which in the words of curator Alan Oei aims to “complicate the narrative” regarding the country’s opulent Marina Bay district.

As part of the ticketed tour, I will show three large photographs in the reception area of Deutsche Bank, alongside installations by PHUNK and Shubigi Rao. In addition I have five smaller pieces from my “Singapore” series at Marina Bay Link Mall, which can be seen for free — seven days a week — during the month of January.

Great ! All I need now is my plane ticket !
Joking aside, I’d really be glad to attend. The “complicate the narrative … opulent … district” adds to my interest.

I visited OH! yesterday and enjoyed viewing your photographs. The sudden quiet panel in the middle of the Link Mall was a very good touch 🙂

Thanks for your support Meds! I’m glad to hear that the installation in the mall worked for you.
